COVID-19 Updates – Canada is now accepting all applications for online visitor visa and eTA.

As of July 1st, 2020, the Government of Canada is processing all online visitor visa and eTA applications. Nevertheless, it does not mean that you will be eligible to travel to Canada yet, even if approved.

As per the last announcement of the Canadian Government, the border will remain close until July 21st, 2020 for travelers coming directly from the US and until July 31st, 2020 for all other foreign nationals.

Who is eligible to travel to Canada at the moment

  • Immediate family members of a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. You must be staying in Canada for at least 15 days.

  • All other foreign nationals who are travelling for an essential purpose.

  • If you are a Canadian Citizen.

  • If you are a Permanent Resident of Canada.

  • If you are a person registered under the Canada’s Indian Act.

  • If you are a protected person.

Quarantine Requirement

If you are eligible to travel to Canada, you must have a plan to quarantine for 14 days when you arrive in Canada, this includes: a place to stay, how you will get to your destination, get your groceries, access essential services and medical care. This plan is mandatory, even if you have no symptoms.
